Skarpi, yesterday I went to the Christmas Revels in Hanover NH, whose theme this year celebrated the music and traditions of Iceland, Finland, and other Northland countries. It was spectacularly beautiful and made me want to spend more time than I have in your country (21 years ago I spent 90 minutes in the airport in Reykjavik!) Best wishes for a safe and joyous Christmas- after today, the light will begin to return!

Because you're looking for words to Irish songs, it makes sense to drive over Borgafjordur way. As I told you, I left a pile of stuff taped to the door of the caravan parked just off the road on the banks of the Leira River when I was fishing in September. Have you checked this out yet?

I retired in August and it's been great getting to know you all a bit since then.

Down here in Austalia we trust you'll look after Santa for us as he passes your way. No... that can't be right. I've just realised that he'll be here first. In about thirty minutes we'll be a day ahead of you so Santa must start in Australia ?????? and work his way North.
