Subject: The TINDALLS at St Albans this Sunday From: George Papavgeris Date: 02 Jul 05 - 03:59 AM Apologies - this should be in Breezy's "Spotlight" thread, but I couldn't find it. Anyway... This Sunday, 3rd July, at 8pm, at the St Albans "Sunday Spotlight" Folk Club, Royal British Legion, Verulam Road St Albans, the guests are the Tindalls. Stuart and Paula Tindall are a wonderful duo hailing from Oxfordshire, with material that ranges from traditional to folk revival and contemporary. Great guitar playing and two voices that were meant to be together (Paula's will melt your heart or I am a Martian). The two alone can keep any audience enthralled and riveted to their seats. But this Sunday we go one better - because they are joined by Sarah and Cathryn, their amazing two daughters (8 and 11, if I remember right). Sarah plays bass and guitar, and they both sing like angels (there must be a singing gene in the human genome). I will personally refund the entrance fee to anyone who come to listen to them this Sunday and does not become an enthusiastic fan. |
