Subject: RE: Info Required - A.J. Webber From: GUEST,clueso Date: 15 Nov 11 - 10:07 PM It is good to know she is still around. I have her first Album and saw her around 1976 at The Village Pump Folk Club Trowbridge. I believe she is from that area (Bristol,Bath etc). I understand she started her career as "Adrianne" (don't know if that is spelt correctly?), she then moved to London and changed her name to A.J. Webber. |
Subject: RE: Info Required - A.J. Webber From: GUEST,Guest: Philip Date: 02 Aug 11 - 09:14 PM During the 70's Aj toured the UK with The (Dave) Greenslade Band, which was to launch her carrier on Anchor Records. During the late 80's/early 90's she released a single on "Gundog Records", I sure it was called Cleveland Pier, but I do understand that it was to help in the restoration of the collapsed structure. |
Subject: RE: Info Required - A.J. Webber From: GUEST,Tom Date: 23 Jun 10 - 05:13 AM Hi there, Aj is still singing, she's currently releasing a single in memory of Fred Wedlock. She will also soon have a new website at www.ajwebber.eu for anyone interested in her music or the new single. Aj released 5 or 6 albums on the Anchor label in the 70/80's and Running out of Sky in the 90's. She still performs regularly and is playing tonight at the Undercroft in Bristol. Keep an eye out for the website for more details and biography! |

Subject: INFO RQD - AJ WEBBER From: Lancashire Lad Date: 11 Oct 05 - 09:14 AM Does anyone have any info on a singer called AJ Webber. Ive been playing and enjoying her self titled LP on the Anchor label from 1976, but cant seem to find any details about her. I believe she also recorded a second album for a small British label that is more "folky" than the one I have. Is she still singing? Any info appreciated. |
