THERE'S A BLUE SKY WAY OUT YONDER
(Arthur Fields, Fred Hall, Bert Van Cleve)

There's a blue sky way out yonder
That's a roof over my head.
There's a blue sky way out yonder
That's a cover for my bed.

And wherever I wander,
Or wherever I may roam,
There's a blue sky away out yonder
That's a-callin' me back home.

[yodel & fiddle]

I'm tired of roamin' around,
Mighty tired, mighty blue.
But somehow I never have found
Any place like the home I once knew.

There's a blue sky way out yonder
That's a roof over my head.
There's a blue sky way out yonder
That's a cover for my bed.

And wherever I wander,
Or wherever I may roam,
There's a blue sky away out yonder
That's a-callin' me back home.

From the Sons of the Pioneers Lucky U Ranch recordings, attributed to Arthur Shields and Fred Hall:

There's a blue sky way out yonder
That's a roof over my head.
There's a blue sky way out yonder
That's a cover for my bed.

And wherever I wander,
Or wherever I may roam,
There's a blue sky away out yonder
That's a-callin' me home.

I'm tired of roamin' around,
Mighty tired and mighty blue.
Somehow I never have found
Any place like the home I once knew.

There's a blue [etc.]

Was written by Arthur Fields. Can't find lyrics. Someone will have them, Louie.

Does anyone have the rest of the lyrics to this song,This is what I remember.
There's blue sky away out yonder
    It's a roof oe'r my head
There's a blue sky away out yonder
It's a cover for my bed

    Where ever I wander
    Where ever I roam
There's a blue sky away out yonder
    Welcome me back home.

The Sons of the pioneers did this song I believe back in the 1930s.I'm positive there are a couple of more verse. All help appreciated Thanks Louie Roy
