Patrick,

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I have had a lot of fun with your lessons and can not wait for more. The stories are full of laughs and always fun to hear. If you and Dear Old Dad are ever up in Northcentral PA and want a place to park the big old Dodge (love Mopars myself) you are always welcomed at our house.

Thanks for everything,

Pete

We have stared a free weekly video workshop series at http://howandtao.com

The first guitar workshop covers tuning the guitar, basic chords and basic rhythm patterns.

In a week this workshop will be taken down from this server and replaced with lesson two.

The video files in this workshop series are being released under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs2.5 License.

The format of these workshops is pretty much what you would experience if you visited us in Crisfield. In the guitar series my goal is to provide you with the tools you need to develop your own approach to making music on the guitar. Instead of learning songs we will explore techniques and concepts that you can use to grasp the big picture of making music in an improvisational manner.

In the next few weeks we will be starting up additional workshop programs using the same format for tenor banjo, frailing banjo and we're seriously thinking about a series of play-along jam sessions.
