Hi,

I was looking at the spitiual, "Ain't Going To Tarry Here" and can't find any source info. Here are some lyrics:

Sweep it clean
Ain't going to tarry here

I sweep my house with the gospel room
Ain't going to tarry here

Ain't going to tarry here

Usually you'd think there would be alternate versions with "Ain't Gwine Tarry" or "Ain't Gonna Tarry" but I can't find any.

The Folk index says it's also:

Lisbon [Laws N 8/Sh 121]

Anyone have info? Any good versions I can hear on-line? Good recordings?

I don't have it but it dates 1933 so the would be a good one to post.

I looked in Abebooks for a copy of that book and found several copies for $275-$425.
Post the spiritual when you buy your copy.
