I heard from Tim Radford that Mike Sadler passed away earlier this year. He wrote a song dedicated to the Itchen Chain Ferry, as well as the Frimley Green Bog song, and other such gems. His nom de plume was Gutta Percha when he sang with The Balladeers with brother in law the late Dave Williams. I'd like to write an appreciation of his life, so would value any contributions.
