Severn, we're still sending you positive thoughts for your recovery. The Cottage would be a good and peaceful place to recuperate, I can just see you lounging around on the lawns surrounded by our flora and fauna, being waited on hand and foot and cooking up crazy schemes with Richard! Paypal or Western Union, chance (put this in the other thread too) Paypal is very cheap, but slow, around 12 days. WU is very fast, in minutes, but expensive.

Max has a paypal account for Mudcat, why not PM him and find out more?

According to Paypal you can send money to anyone with an email address. I haven't tried to do that but I have sent quite bit to the States at various times without problem to a registered Paypal account.

Severn has made many friends in the UK but, unfortunatly, we are fairly well scattered.
It's a lovely idea Karen and Rhiannon but may present some practical problems - however I feel that if we all bought a ticket for the Maryland benefit we could join in what I hope will be a great tribute.
