I can only surmise that you people know MT better than I and also that you must know why he doesn't post. Otherwise, I see nothing tacky about my posts. And I'm sure if MT reads them, he won't either.

It is tacky to make such comments about someone, esp. when they are not around to return the "banter." Alex took a lot of crap from assholes while he was here, and, I know, dished some out, too, but imo, it is still tacky to have done.

FWIW, last I knew he had a new job which precluded him from much, if any, surfing.

Thanks for setting me straight, ladies. For a minute there, I thought I had made a fo paw in ettaket and caused MT grief of which I was unaware. I PM'd MT immediately upon reading your comments above and apologized for any such grief. As for talking about those who are not present, sometimes you have to invite, coax, even nudge, someone to get a word out of them. I hope you ladies can appreciate this good-natured teasing amongst us lads in the future.

Yup, I'm a good ol boy with a good ol boy sense of humour. It must take a great deal of your day telling everyone not to say bad words or things PI... Celtic Soul was right. And I would add that a sense of humour may allow you more time, and a lot less stress.

I am not a politically-correct, Pollyannaish femi-Nazi. If it helps you to think so, do feel free. I have been around the block a few times. I don't tell people what to say or do, but when someone is clearly trying to insult others or makes bigoted comments, yes, I do stand up and say something about it. Gosh, that must make me a judgmental bitch.

And I have a wonderful sense of humor, as all my friends will attest to. You obviously know nothing about me.

If I referred to you as being "pussy-whipped" by your latest lady friend (not that I am am aware of whether that is your sexual preference) I don't think you'd appreciate it, as it reflects negatively on both you and your lady friend.

Maybe you and your circle of friends see this as a friendly bit of ribbing and not an offensive insult. But for the world at large it is a pejorative term and surely you know and can understand that? For you to be so disrespectful of women who are not "part of your circle" means, sorry, that you are disrespectful of women in general.

Think about it for a moment or two.

I last posted in December, I think. I was blown off the air by Art and Kat. That left a VERY bad taste in my mouth. Since then I have perused this site occasionally. I recently posted a song (Blackbird) that a catter requested. So when I read threads, such as this, that degenerate to this level, all it does is refresh that bad taste in my mouth. Ah heck... I just had a PM from someone who told me that the term "pussy-whipped" is far worse than I knew. Gosh, I've heard it used on the TV, albeit from crass individuals. I just never realized it actually is considered that PI. Far worse, I was informed that some people view it's use, even when teasing a fellow, as inciting abuse against women. Now, that really bothers me. Abuse is not to be tolerated, in any form.... even being pussy-whipped, which is definitely not a joke if it actually occurs.

Well, given that explanation, I must say that I will certainly consider future use of this term in a different light.

KatLaughing and Sorcha with Little Hawk all came in close behind Catspaw. However, if we extrapolate a curve of quanity over time; 53 has caught, and twice exceeded the others postings rate. Perhaps, he is out of town, because his current frequency has dropped something awful.
