Sorry, but I'm not going to make it to Kieler Woche this year, after all.
The accommodation wasn't what it was meant to be, so I pulled out.

I'm up in Esbjerg most of the time anyway, so if you're ever in the vicinity, my daytime (and sometimes nighttime) 'office' is the Paddy Go Easy Irish Pub, in that sainted town.....!

What a pity! I'd been looking forward to meeting you and had a look round today, but they were still putting the stally together.

The last time I was in Esbjerg must have been ten years ago, but I'll remember.

Anyway, Chas told me he'd be coming back to these parts on 30 June - with a group of Swedish dancers. Something else to look forward to once Kiel Week is over.

Andy, the roof will take some more months to replace. Don't know if a definite decision has been taken yet. Not heard anything new about the arsonist either, other than what we read in the paper while we were going to Laboe on the ferry in May.

Nice to hear from youze, anyway. Passed through Giothenburg yesterday, but Chas was away playing a gig, so didn't see him.

Nobody has yet extended an idea for next year's Eurogathering. Where is it goign to happen?

Back from Norway - great country, nice holiday. Made me feel homesick for Scotland. We didn't make it to the 'Dubliner', though, only passed it during the tour of the city on Saturday morning.

I flit between Oslo and Denmark these days.

Mudcatter John Wood is out in Skjetten, not far from Oslo; I think there's someone here from Haugesund or Stavanger, as well. Åse and Marit, (forget their Mudcat handles, now...) are also from Oslo.

I'll be back up there again in October at The Shamrock in Oslo, and the Café Dublin in Trondheim....
