I have seen a couple of threads where it has been mentioned that the supersearch is not working. Here is a link that will allow access to it: http://www.mudcat.org/@NewSSResults.cfm.

I've now bookmarked it, along with the Mudcat triad (shorty, ragtime and loki), the Help page, and the Songbook. Belt and Braces.

Try this for personal pages.

The reason is (I'm guessing) you're reading the forum on Loki. When you click the link for personal pages, it tries to go to another server - probably Shorty - that isn't working now. Alternatively, you can just replace "www" with "loki" in the address.

Also, at the moment using http://loki.mudcat.org/threads.cfm is likely to provide a more reliable connection to MC than using www which tries to allocate which server is used.

The link to the personal pages points to www and can cause problems. The link that Jeri has given will solve that.

Most importantly of all, bookmark http://help.mudcat.org.

The help forum is often available when other servers are down and it can be used to find out what is and what isn't working and possible solutions. Jeri did post links to the alternative servers there a couple of days ago.
