Hey Max!

If you'd rather have quality than quantity, Mudcat ain't for you (even if you are the big boss around here).

Mudcatters have regularly proven that quantity is much more important to them than quality. (Just watch, there'll be about 25 posts complaining that I've insulted your station in life as the Top Cat.)

To answer two of the important questions at Mudcat, I had Corn Flakes for breakfast and brushed my teeth with Crest.

I should have known better than to trust a guy who won't say "Bolivian." **BG**

Darn. I shoulda known BillD would beat me to the punch. He and I think alike - but he thinks faster. I can see it now - Max having a special edition of Mudcat Radio to celebrate the beginning of the Millennium - on January 1, 2001.

Spaw posted message number 300,000 today, and that's good enough for me. Message #100,000 was posted by thosp just over a year ago, 27 July, 1999. Bert posted Message # 200,000 on 23 March, 2000, but he had nothing to say. By the way, there is no Message #1.

I don't eat cereal (too much carbs) and I prefer Tom's of Maine toothpaste. :)

Thank you Joe, I was about to post something similar. All those duplicates and such are just a software management situation. They may have been deleted or whatever, but we have had 300,000 posts somehow and that's good enough for me.

So Max, ta' hell with your technobabble!!! This also assures that the "Thread-A-Thon" is over which ain't all bad from your standpoint either!!! So let's ship those tiples and get help for the poor souls at the NYCFTTS.

Spaw

I now see that I should have posted my comment on performance here rather than over in mousethief's song thread. The blue clicky above will lead the interested reader.
