I am not sure where her version came from but she would tell me it came from the streets of Brooklyn NY when she was little - So 1930's. She is now 95 years old but this was the song we would hear when we were misbehaving, she also used to sing it to my mother and her siblings when they were young: I'm a Villain, a dirty rotten Villain I shed a pile of blood where'er I go I take delight in putting up a fight I hit babies on the head until their dead I have gotten a rep for being rotten I put poison in my uncles shredded wheat I eat (click click) Raw meat (click click) I fell out a window a second story window I caught my eyelash on a sill, sill Go get the axe theirs a fly on babies mustache his next best friend is his mother! THANK YOU My grandma turns 88 today and I have been trying to track down the original version of songs she'd sing me for a week now and so many versions I've found were too far off but what you posted is almost EXACTLY what she'd sing! Being some neighborhood version from Brooklyn makes so much sense why they'd be so close!
