"I remember seeing Cosmotheka doing a "set piece" a couple of times which involved a singer who was "planted" in the audience, and who, at a pre-arranged moment, started singing, seemingly spontaneously, with the performance on the stage. I thought it worked really well. In retrospect, I wonder if that was an old music hall device. "

Yes I saw them do that. I think it was Andrew Frank and the song was "When a Nightingale Sang in Berkley Square".

Just a quick update: the new website for Cosmotheka is now up and running! Please visit:

www.cosmotheka.co.uk

and also see links on the Contact page to Facebook and Twitter, if you use them.

Dave & Dan performed a successful gig at St Neots last Tuesday; Dave is Max Miller in Darlington tomorrow night; and plenty more gigs listed across the summer.

Best wishes

Cassie Tillett

Just working my slow way through a number of tapes I recorded from Radio 2 mid to late 70's and find a couple of live songs from what appears to be Beverly Festival - Coffee Pot and Brown Boots (there may be others but they are the only ones I caught in passing.

Any idea of the date - even the year - of either the performance or broadcast?
