Just spoke to Liz and she says she feels crap and is bored out of her tree but all went well. Sheis very tired but will certainly appreciate calls.

Thanks guys, truly touched here.....

I now have a Frankenbelly, although not as dramatic as Micca's was last year..... They couldn't do the keyhole bit, so they had to make a bigger hole. Regrettably they did not take me up on the suggestion that they do some lipsuction whilst they were down there.

Stitches out on Sat, no lifting, stretching or rolling on the floor for 2-3 weeks, but I can now EAT!!!

First meal was strawberry icecream..... yum..... just a shame there was no chocolate flavour left.

Please keep ringing, I was very happy to get two calls last night, even though I was not very compos mentis, more sort of compost..... Food parcels of chocolate would be gratefully received!! (only kidding!)

Thanks again, all you wonderful people. I've already had an offer to rub it better, but that's another thread altogether!!

Good to hear the plumber's done his bit and you're back on your feet with all four trotters in the fridge! I'm just worried there might not be enough ice-cream in East London. See if you can get it on prescription (with the NHS in the state it is now, I doubt it - though my grandfather did once get a crate of Guinness prescribed by his doctor. Jammy bugger).
