We are now well underway with plans for this years Festival and if you check out the website you will see we have another great line-up . I still don't know how to insert the link so perhaps one of my good Catter friends can help here!

If you are interested in stewarding please send us a PM with your contact details.

Hope to see you there!

Merek'n'Dary

No dogs?
What about cats? Not the sharkie type happytappers, but furry feline kitteny types? I know of one one year, but my lips are sealed.

You'd really love it, Bob !!   I hereby invite you !! ....well,obviously, I can't book you, but if you came along & stayed on the campsite at the golf driving range, and took part in some of the clubhouse "Late Night Extras",and got seen by a few people----well, how could they FAIL to book someone as good as you for the future ??

Hey, not long now!!!

I know there'll be a MudGather, but I'm not certain where or when it will be. I'll be there anyway, as long as we don't get delayed coming back from the USA *grin*

Anyone else excited???

Well, TheSilentOne and I will be in Stratford u Avon, visiting his parents that weekend. Very tempting to drop in on some sing arounds as it is so close.

Not the parents kind of scene, I don't think. Someday thought. We will be there.

Good News! We have found a lovely venue right in the middle of town for the Mudgather at Banbury. Hooray!!!!

This will take place on Saturday between 3.30 pm and 6.30 pm and will be in the Fine Lady Restaurant, Banbury Cross pub, 7 Butchers Row, Banbury OX16 5JH. (This is the small road that leads off the High Street to the Market.)

If this works well we may be able to programme more events here next year!

Cheers! Merek'n'Dary

The Fine Lady Resaurant used to be owned (at one time) by a guitarist in Steeleye Span - and then later by a Mayor of Banbury!!

Hi everybody

So glad you got to hear about the new venue in America Guru. Hope you had a great time!

And Tim ..... I didn't know that the Fine Lady Restaurant had folky connections - Not to mention civic ones! Makes it even more of an apt venue!

Ned and Pattie - Sorry you won't be there this year!

Still a few tickets left and some camping space, so hurry up and book up while you still can!Best to book by paypal through the website or by 'phone via the Mill. Tickets will be held for you on Festival Information and Camping passes at the campsites.

Look forward to seeing you there!

Dary

Emma - the cold bug fiendishly waited until I'd arrived in Banbury and then descended with great force on Friday night, so I didn't venture further than the golf club until Saturday afternoon.... hope you make it next year!

Left the campsite this morning at about 0700 -ish,as Karen had to go to work today.Having said that,it was a surprise to see so many 'vans still on the site ; last night's turn-out in the clubhouse was very good, at least 20 people singing, and more in the bar !
Highlights for me were Heretique and Bob Fox / Billy Mitchell, and a good "session" in the Bell on Sunday afternoon, and the Mudgather,of course ! Well done Derek & Mary,it gets better all the time !
