Deborah - your house selling comes first. Wouldn't want you to not serve lobster occasionally. LOL Don't worry about it.

Maeve - see you soon. The front door is open if I am not hearing the door bell.

Mary

"The front door is open if I am not hearing the door bell."

Good thing you have that big shaggy scarey animal to protect you from intruders.

And Seamus can back him up, too.

LOL, gnu. Seamus would be hiding behind Ed, who would be backing up the "big shaggy scary animal."

Jacqui - why do you wish Gnu were here? Oh, I get it - you mean you wish YOU were here......! Well the bad news is I did not write an offer but the good news is I got to hear most of the concert (had to leave early - Sunday is family night).......Jed was in great form......!

You'd have enjoyed the music and the banter, gnu.

I arrived home safely after an excellent concert and a mighty fine, mostly instrumental session that was going strong when I had to leave at 8:30. I hadn't heard any of Jed's music before and enjoyed both songs and instrumental work very much- thank you again, Jed. When I can buy several of your cds I'll be glad to do so.

I brought my Apollonio six-string since the maker was there for the concert. I look forward to the time when I can play my guitars and fiddle again; tonight I missed them more than ever. I have some new songs to try out on y'all sometime, but I reckon they'll keep.

Thank you for your hospitality, Sinsull, and thanks to my erstwhile house guest for my concert ticket. Thanks to Sins, Jeri, and Nick for buying plants from my mobile farm stand. It was good to see Tami and Jason, TRUEBRIT, Sinsull, Jeri, John, Kendall, and Nick and his son, and to meet Jed- and his four friends who drove up for the concert.

I had to force myself to get out and go. Woke up feeling like the last rose of summer, well, more like the end of a hard winter, but I was glad I went. As usual, Jed did a great job and the company really perked me up.
It was fun to hear my Apollonio 12 string played by the man himself. Jed also dragged tunes out of it that I never knew lived in there.

Jeri was in rare form, she always adds a bit of zany to the mix.
Mary, thanks for another great evening.

LOL I saw my post about buying a new guitar and thought "When the hell did that happen?" I went through a full bottle of wine myself but kept losing my glass so I know I was sober.

This was a wonderful night. Great music and two competing banjo players. Jed loves his music and pulls in his audience. Amazing guitar work. Some geat harmonies.

The aftermath was the best part. All those instruments playing musical chairs and every time it was a chair short, one changed hands. LOL

Next time, I will have Jed mail his CDs in advance. This is the second time he was out of latest CD.
CDBaby, I guess.

Thank you all. This really was a wonderful day and evening. A thrill to finally meet Nick. His son is a cutie who preferred my collection of singing/dancing fuzzy animals to Jed. No tellin' taste. I think we have picked up few new attendees. Now too work.
SINS
