I have the choice of going to a Meatloaf concert in Manchester or going to see Cloud Street, guess who I'm going to see! Ross you were great last night not crap at all. But it will be good to see some more mudcatter's at Ampthill. Cllr PS "Cllr at work" is not oxymoronic.

You better be at your club cllr, stuff meatloaf or I wont let you forget it.
Its called committment, perhaps you dont have it!!
You expect it from your audience and so does your guest expect it of you.
Are you running already?
All talk.

Well I wasn't expecting the spanish inquisition, however after that strong display I will expect to see you there Breezy ( as long as you don't talk all the way through the second half like last time -I don't care how well you get on with the land lady 8-)- no matter how friendly she is! As cloud street and Guru are all staying at my house it would be a bit mean to go away. To be honest though it looks as if it will be a fab evening cllr

Hmm rereading my last post I mean that cloud street will be a fab evening and I would rather be in Ampthill than in Manchester.(rather than any other interpretation than might be put on it.) Cllr

Breezy is hosting the 1st of bi-monthly song swap sessions at the King Harry that night.
I'm keeping to my committment.
Which is more than can be said for certain public figures.

Hello everyone out there in computer screen land.Ive just been to the second best live acoustic music club in Bedfordshire. It's nice to play at a place where not only are the landlord and landlady up for it, they need it almost as much as we do. Just like at The Bull in Barton le Clay. Cheers Cllr see you soon.

Sorry John got this too late for the grand reopening hope it went well. However I did say the second best in Bedfordshire which snorbans and Herga are not, so I could still be correct. Please remind me what is on where me and Ross may come and play. And when is Ron and Les playing. We may also be able to do you a little deal for you and Big P G to come and play.Should see you Sunday at John Kirkpatrick. If not see you soon anyway. Martin Dent

Hey JB

Martin & me, saw Dangerous Curves at Hitchin Folk Club

And we did a floor spot on the same bill

Unfortunately it was as Santa and friend

But a gigs a gig

Dangerous Curves - girly humours all right but it was stretched a bit and there was not enough of their magical harmony singing

Now you've mentioned that place,it just doesnt have the atmosphere that an intimate setting with other personal factors can produce.
Its a hard gig there unless your world famous.
Have you done afloor spot there since?
Hope yuo'll spot for us at the 'Spotlight' club where 4 floor spots gets you a 'Spotlight' Gig with a listing in unicorn!!!What other club can make that offer?
Chris Flegg has joined our team of residents.Who? Come and find out.
Bet that place is nowhere near as friendly as |Barton even, certainly not better than Mike Blair's Bedford.
