Subject: RE: Folk & Blues Music From: Boab Date: 18 Feb 05 - 02:49 AM Ray Stubbs---is this the same guy who hails from Newcastle [or did at one time] and did some t.v. acting besides being a musician? He used to be a regular at Hexham club some [some!] years back. Just curious---- |
Subject: RE: Folk & Blues Music From: Scintilla Date: 18 Feb 05 - 11:49 AM Yeah I saw Banoffi at the Blue Anchor in Byfleet and I thought they were great! Really original and very entertaining. I remember the guitarist broke a string right in the middle of a really mad guitar bit, and he fixed it like 10 seconds flat, mucho impressive! One of the best live gigs I've been to I reckon, easy on the eye too as I recall... ;) |
