Subject: RE: Good Intent Rochester Wasail 22nd 23 Dec (UK) From: The Barden of England Date: 23 Dec 07 - 02:30 PM Just wanted to say a BIG thankyou to all the wonderful people who turned up yesterday. It was a fine and very pleasant way to spend a saturday and I for one had a splendid time. Thanks to Karen and Dal who once again were the perfect hosts, and to all the singers and audience. It was great to see people all the way from Southampton, West Ham, Eltham, Orpington as well as those more local to Rochester. Have a very merry Christmas and a prosperous and healthy New Year. John Barden |

Thanks to all those who came over the weekend, especially those who had the stamina to make it to the very end on Sunday (I think we were all getting a bit knackered by then)! Thanks, as usual, to Karen and Dal for supporting the event and for laying on a great selection of beer, and to the mighty Barden for running the Saturday session. Season's Greetings to you all from melodeonboy (aka the shirt murderer aka 1/3 of Ruff 'n' Reddy). Next folk night at The Good Intent is on 15th January. |
