What about Savage Squirrel? I had a folk/rockabilly/punk mixture thing for a while called the Bloody Holley's. I had a line in a song that said "the radio was blaring out Buddy Holley." One night when I was playing a writers night in Nashville I had to many beers and said Bloody Holley instead. One of the guys in the round with me asked who the Bloody Holley's were after. I laughed and thought it would be a cool name so later in Louisville Ky. I formed a little band that was pretty intense. Just an experimental thing and real aggressive. I named it after my slip up. We would pack the house every night and everyone always had something to say about the band name. SOme good some bad but it caught attention and stuck in people's heads.

Too bad "Phil & the Blanks" has been taken.

There are a lot of economic buzzwords going around now that would be adaptable.

Right now I'd like to have a band called "Stimulus Package."

"Cap & Trade" would be a good name for a duo.

Add a bit of Klezmer, and you could be "The Mountain Jew Boys".

Hi,

Apparently, they ought to be: "The Irish Green String Band".
(The Ire-land String Band?)

But I must say, I'd really take notice if a band actually was called: "Cyril without a doubt". (-:

Bye,
                                                                                                                                                          Mysha
