Ha ha, for over 2 years I played Andrew Lloyd Webber songs on my violin from a ALW songbook for trumpet. I only found out later that the trumpet was a transposing instrument! Oops! Well, it still sounded good, but some songs I could never figure why it "just didn't sound right"!
