Fact is, I still have not seen or listened to all the DVDs and CDs and tapes that Sev sent me. The man is generous and beyond. His love for the music is only outweighed by his love for fellow human beings.

Anyone who does not know Sev or has not read his treasure of posts at this Mudcat Café is missing out... missing out, period. Take a gander back at his posts... remarkable knowledge and humour... a treasure, indeed.

Sorry if that makes you uncomfortable or embarassed, Sev... it's only the truth.

Well Severn seems to be getting better and coming back and posting on a pun-ctual basis......with several real groaners already! I know that typing is tough but I'm confused as to which side was injured and what he's typing with.....and perhaps I don't want to know!. If his right side is injured and he's right handed, than he has very little left. But if his left side is injured, he's all right. I know its some long days for you Sev, but I used to borrow a copy of Gray's Anatomy from the Nursing Station. There's a lot of humerus things in it...................

Over the ten years I've been here, I have on several occasions found myself in a situation similar to Severn's and the support of this place in ALL ways was not only unbelievable but needed as well. When I have been given the chance I have tried to repay those wonderful, generous, and caring, folks by supporting others when it became their turn in the barrel.

Chance (Fortunato), with a letter from Kathie Mack, Chance's friend and Severn's cousin, was kind enough to post an arrangement where we can contribute $$$ directly to Severn. I know that none of us here are well off and times are tough, but 10 or 20 bucks from a lot of 'Catters can really add up quickly. It doesn't take a lot when there a lot of us tossing in a few bucks. We've done it for others in the past and not so oddly, like myself they realize the only way to pay it back is to keep the circle intact. So here's the info once again:

Sidenote to SINSULL. Oh, yes... When I was a very young sprout my dad taught me to grow and harvest fresh puns, as well as to prepare heirloom varieties for the educated palates of gourmand pun-tasters. I find that the growing medium can dramatically affect the quality and ripening of even the generic puns.

Building the new hospital wing....

When a panel of doctors were asked to vote on adding a new wing to their hospital, the Allergists voted to scratch it and the Dermatologists preferred no rash moves.

The Gastro-enterologists had a Gut feeling about it, but the Neurologists thought the administration had a lot of nerve, and the Obstetricians stated they were laboring under a miss-conception.

The Ophthalmologists considered the idea shortsighted; the Pathologists yelled, "Over my dead body!", while the Pediatricians said, "Grow up!"
