Subject: RE: Carolina Chocolate Drops news article From: GUEST,Tom Nelligan Date: 22 Mar 07 - 06:10 PM One more enthusiastic recommendation here. I had a chance to interview the Drops a couple weeks ago in connection with an upcoming article for "Dirty Linen" (it will appear this summer), and aside from being great musicians who were loads of fun to hear, they are very nice people and deeply into the African-American string band tradition that they are helping carry on. Worth checking out if you're at all into the old-time genre. |
