I have been asked by a friend whether I know a song about a cleaning woman going to work on a bus which she thinks is by Ewan McColl. I've tried searching the forum but not had any luck. Any ideas?

Absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much. Sorry I couldn't find it in the DT. The song never uses the word cleaner or bus so I was a bit handicapped but the Mudcat rarely lets you down. Thanks Peace and Susanne.

Two out of the few personal songs he wrote were 'Nobody Knew She Was There', which was about his mother Betsy and 'My Old Man', about his father, William.
