Help: Remember Me (Scotty Wiseman)

I heard a fragment of a song on PHC tonight while in my car. It was sung by Garrison and I think the refrain was "remember me". There is a song in DT by that name but I didn't hear enough to recognize it. Is that the same song? If not, does anyone know what the song

Was the one he sang about springtime on the prairie, in the cowboy skit? I'll listen to it tomorrow afternnon - our NPR station reruns it every Sunday afternoon, and post what I find out here, unless someone beats me to it.

That was "Remember Me," written by Scott Wiseman, the song that became the theme song of T. Texas Tyler's radio show. I've loved it for years and still sing it quite frequently. Garrison said Scotty wrote it for his wife, Lulubelle, who passed away not long ago. I knew he was gone, but hadn't heard about her death. I'm not sure of the correct spellings of their names, but my wife grew up listening to "Lulubelle and Scotty" on radio, so she was thrilled when they ordered all of the traditional albums I had recorded in their native North Carolina.

We were also excited when Sandy Koufax ordered all of our recordings of Gordon Bok! Now you know what retired left-handers listen to.

By the way, these are the words as I've long known them. Garrison made a few small changes when he sang it on PHC. If you decide to learn it, better to use these.

Speaking of Prairie Home Companion, can anybody tell me the story of the previous theme song, "Hello Love"? I thought it was written for the show, but then I heard it on a Hank Snow recording.
How about the current theme song - was that written for the show?
