Subject: Padstow 'Oss picture needed please From: Zany Mouse Date: 03 May 07 - 03:09 PM OK, OK, I know the 'Oss has been covered in numerous threads but I still need help. I'm looking for a good, clear picture of the 'Oss for a craft project. I've been through all the Padstow threads and sites but I can't find a really good one. Can any Catter help please? Thanks Rhiannon |

Subject: RE: Padstow Oss picture needed please From: Zany Mouse Date: 03 May 07 - 03:20 PM Thank you to Countess Richard and to the kind Mudcatter who PMed me (not sure if she wants to remain anon). I now have the images I'm after. The Cat comes through again - and with SPEED. Rhiannon |

Subject: RE: Padstow Oss picture needed please From: johnadams Date: 06 May 07 - 05:22 AM Glad you're sorted out. The person with probably the biggest collection of Oss-pix will be Doc Rowe. I write 45 minutes before the event, but if you are near a TV in the UK and can tune in to BBC 1 today (Sunday 6th) at 11am (BST), Doc, according to an email I've just received from him, will probably be on 'Countryfile' on an item about Padstow. (He just say's 'people you know' but I guess it will feature his good self at some point. JA |
Subject: RE: Padstow Oss picture needed please From: Zany Mouse Date: 06 May 07 - 09:24 AM Thanks John. I usually watch COuntryfile and today was no exception. The Padstow Oss article was very good, it stated the basics accurately. Just about enough detail for nonfolkies. Rhiannon |
Subject: RE: Padstow Oss picture needed please From: johnadams Date: 06 May 07 - 12:09 PM Yes, I thought it was good. The Countryfile team seem to be able to depict these sort of things without resorting to banal comments and faint ridicule. Favourite moment? Question... Why do you do it? Answer .... Because we always have! Why else? J |
