Seeking same for self... have looked at bunches of tourist online info but would like y'all's recommendations, please!

Recommend a new prefix: LivMus Req? VenueReq? Something like that? Not seeking lyrics or tunes, but places to go hear?

I can't tell you what's on, but here are 3 sites that offer listings. On the 2 radio calendars, you can put in the range of dates you're looking for.

Dirty Linen magazine
This is for the whole state, the whole month.

WUMB folk radio
Pretty broad, across the region listings, but the station itself is in Boston.

WGBH Public Radio
Same story.

Also check out the calender listings under the Thrusday's Boston Globe's Calender Section for a weekly run down on folk & Irish & online check Billy Hocket's "Music For Robin"'s calender. WUMB & WGBH shown above are also good. Another is GBFSS (Greater Boston Folk Song Society) I believe they have an online calender too. If you're gonna attend any of the Boston or Portsmouth things let me know & i'll ry to make a go at getting there.

Good Luck
Barry

Yeah, the FSSGB has a calendar of folk events, but its only in their hard-copy newsletter. However, online, they list their own events, so that's worth a try, too.

Folk Song Society of Greater Boston
