Hope they can fix him he's very smart, a nice red motarola. Talkin of Red, he excelled himself again last weekend, team 3rd and individual 2nd, and we've already qualified for the championships and its only June. He's a star. My trainer has forgiven me for beating her the week before, but there's going to be a return match on Thursday 21st. Very busy at work got another PA off sick with some trauma stress panic thingumy, so I'm doing extreme multi-tasking. No pub for me this week !!!! |

Subject: RE: 23rd June Charity Day Bull Barton Beds From: The PA Date: 12 Jun 07 - 06:05 AM Morning Cathie, Ross and all the other busy people out there. My phone is better. Dashed to the phone shop for emergency treatment, but they said it would have to go away, so took it home so that 16 year old son could save everything for me, and hey presto it started working. So............ if you have problems with your mobil: just ring Vodafone, have no luck with man on phone, dash through the traffic from work in the rush hour, find you have no money to park, run as fast as your high heels can manage from one end of the high street to the other reach shop 2 mins before closing have spotty faced youth twiddle with your phone, switch it off, take it home hand it to 16 year old genius and it will magically return to normal ! |
Subject: RE: 23rd June Charity Day Bull Barton Beds From: Ross Date: 12 Jun 07 - 07:16 AM Crikey - mobiles sound like fun - good morning to you all I still haven't evolved Gemini - new love has an unusual name/you are in touch with peoples feelings (oo er) Aries - Luck circles the initial K/Venus has entered you deeply Cancer - you shine in a musical challange/I'm calmer That last one is good - do you think Meg has been spying on me In the Sun today The nice man from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents says children should fall out of trees more often/get wet & muddy and stung by nettles It'll do them good in the long run |
Subject: RE: 23rd June Charity Day Bull Barton Beds From: Cathie Date: 12 Jun 07 - 09:18 AM Thanks Meg - I'll be looking out for a man named Sue. Geminis are always in touch with people's feelings - I can tell you are calmer today Ross. When my son comes back from his first A level exam later on and tells me about all the things that came up which he didn't revise, because blah blah blah, I shall be the epitome of empathy with heightened sentiment and understanding. Subject: RE: 23rd June Charity Day Bull Barton Beds From: The PA Date: 12 Jun 07 - 10:27 AM My boss's initial is K, would this be a good chance to ask for a rise? or would Venus enter even deeply in the shape of his boot??? I quite agree with the man from the ministry if the buggers wont fall out of trees, give the little blighters a shove. Character building, dontchaknow. My Tim is doing Relegious Studies GCSE as we speek. Last Friday was German, it was multiple choice he answered C for everything. In his German oral the only words he could remember were vegetarian, cheese and interesting and managed to work the whole exam around these three words. That lad will go far !! |

Subject: RE: 23rd June Charity Day Bull Barton Beds From: Cathie Date: 12 Jun 07 - 12:30 PM My 'why-don't-you-learn-these-songs' advisor suggested Wooden Heart in German, whatever that song is. Mussyden? I nodded at the time. Perhaps young Tim could provide me with the German words. Richard gave his exam 7/10. I was in touch with his feelings, even when he said that the text book didn't cover glaciation in great depth so he had to blague it. How deep is a glacier anyway? Quiz question. What is the name of the Polar bear on top of a Fox's Glacier Mint? |
Subject: RE: 23rd June Charity Day Bull Barton Beds From: The PA Date: 13 Jun 07 - 03:16 AM Good Morning All from Sunny Worcestershire Cathie, Only if those words are : vegetarian, cheese or interesting - Ross compose a verse please. Tim's exam was 'cool'. This morning we have double higher chemistry. He's decided he wants to follow his cousin into Forensic's. Personally I wouldn't follow Rachel (cousin) anywhere cos it usually ends up quite gruesome. 2 - 1/3rds as much as the bit stickin through the water. So measure the bit stickin through the water and add another couple of bits and there you have it, glacier depth. Simple. Foxie, Mintie, Snowie ??? Meeting this morning so off to scribble shorthand and draw cartoons through the boring bits. I also pass jokes to my boss in an effort to make him laugh usually works. |
Subject: RE: 23rd June Charity Day Bull Barton Beds From: Ross Date: 13 Jun 07 - 04:50 AM It's Peppy - http://www.foxs.co.uk/foxsrange.php Glaciers are normally 4 feet 3 inches deep (approximately 100 metres) and are caused by the urine of mountain elves after drinking chilled ambrosia - bollox I think you must have a wooden heart to get anyone to sing in German Cathy went to school with Lewis Hamilton Do you have to shrink your hand to write short hand |
Subject: RE: 23rd June Charity Day Bull Barton Beds From: The PA Date: 13 Jun 07 - 05:21 AM Peppy is a completely stupid name for a polar bear. Now, Eric that's a proper name. Since when has 4'-3" been nearly 100 metres? Are you sure about those bricks you measure. I was at school with Sisters Attracta, Paul Mary, Josephine and Margurita. No, but you can write really rude things about people without them knowing. Meeting suspended, boss off to Mexico - if I get him to the airport on time. M42 here we come! |
Subject: RE: 23rd June Charity Day Bull Barton Beds From: Ross Date: 13 Jun 07 - 05:40 AM Really - how could you question a MCIOB - would a man really overstretch a measurement to inmpress a lady? Did you go to school with the Spanish Beatles? It's an open mic at the Bull tonight And things on at Bedford Folk Club, Daley's, Kempston & the Orange Tree Baldock And Pirton tonight as above Details of Scrump's funeral tomorrow - 14th from Alan/Sue Hewson: I can now confirm the arrangements for Paul's funeral. It will be at Stevenage Crematorium, at 1.15pm on Thursday 14th June. The address is Watton Road, Stevenage, SG2 8XT Directions: The Crematorium is situated on the Watton Road between Stevenage and Knebworth. The main access is via the Stevenage to Hertford road (A602), linking directly with the A1(M) at Junction 7, less than three miles away. After the service we will retire to The Orange Norton Rd, Baldock, SG7 5AW to celebrate Paul's memory in the way he loved best, with a pint or real beer or cider and a song. Frankie has asked for family flowers only. In lieu there are two options to donate to Paul's memory. Frankie is going to site a memorial seat in one of Paul's favourite places. Donations can be made via the funeral directors. Details will be in the order of service. Secondly, we are going to hold a music festival in him name in March 2008; an account will be set up to which donations can be made. In the interim, donations for the festival can be via Mad Nanny Music. In addition, a ceilidh on July 21st in Ickleford Village Hall (just 50 yards from Paul's home) will donate all profits to the fund. Please contact me re tickets/donations or both. Regards Alan & Sue Hewson |
Subject: RE: 23rd June Charity Day Bull Barton Beds From: Cathie Date: 13 Jun 07 - 07:43 AM So Lewis Hamilton?? Sorry Ross - don't get it. Googling tells me he's a racing driver born in Stevenage. I was more likely to see him at Mums and Tots hogging the toy cars, til my twins moved in on him. I wonder if he has googley eyes. |
Subject: RE: 23rd June Charity Day Bull Barton Beds From: Ross Date: 13 Jun 07 - 08:14 AM Okay - so you're a Cockney Born on the same manor as a very famous music man You must have one interesting road rage story to tell from your days in St Evevage?
