Hi Guru - no probs - everything went to plan

We missed Trevor - there were a few absent

I don't think the Barton village hall was very dear to many people

Never mind

We did have a good time

Sounds like you had a Fab time with an excellent line-up of Stars!!! Well done Ross & all the Bartonites for a brilliant result for Charity!

Ross - did you not explain to your raffle puntees that my CD is really 'non-commercial' as I only ever give it (the cd) away? So disappointed non-winners are welcome to PM me for a copy - if I run out I might just burn a 'hooky' one!!

I was surprised to find that Trevor had decided to spend the weekend with me (at Forest Folk Song & Ale I hasten to add) and was delighted to hear him again. Barton's loss was North Boarhunt's gain and we raised a glass to Barton, well I raised several as you can imagine *grin*

Hi Hitchin John - we always said your guitar would be famous one day

John Birch is giving up the open mic Wednesdays as he is now working in Milton Keynes

These Wednesdays could be ending - discuss

We are in the Unicorn till end of September - so plenty of time

Glad it all went well yesterday - I've been struggling to get over to Barton and probably won't make it this week - but I will some time soon.

By the way - Richard Thompson has stolen my guitar - the danelectro at the bottom.

Mike Sparks had the cheek to sing your 13 florin song (only joking - grin)

Many thanks to all the performers - Steve Last (ref), Mel, Trish & Zoe, Na Mara, John Breeze, Chris Flegg and Mike Sparks

Great stuff

And to all the singarounders in the afternoon

We raised our £200 target which the Village Hall wanted for new furniture - well done to all

The raffle did well as everyone was fighting for 'My Guru's' CD, which was star prize

It's Winkwell today this afternoon 4pm(24th) and next Thursday evening

Then Barton open mic on Wednesday

Morning Boys and Girls

Pouring down here. Showjumping and Dressage last night, came 6th! Not bad considering just as we began our dressage test a ruddy ginger and white cat decided to chase moths around the arena. Poor old Red freeked and shot sideways across the arena, and my son burst our laughing very very loudly. Two fences down in the jumping, but not a bad night. Why didnt M.Meg warn me about the cat!

Boss back like a whorle wind from Athens.

Looks like you've got a fun weekend lined up, we have a charity ball, all suits, posh frocks, and dancing the nigh away to a really good 60's band, which we've seen before. Its to raise funds for research into Amyloidosis, which my friend died from last year.

Work becons, have a great weekend and I hope you all raise loads of money (what's it for Ross).

Bye for now.

I did (not a Pratt though/maybe a fyfe)- it wasn't very big though - story of my life

Love never turned up either

I went to see that Pavarotti last week - he was a right miserable git - he doesn't like it when you join in (Berard Manning RIP)

Isn't it dangerous to look at the Sun - maybe the rainbows were caused by your retinas melting

True story - when Ozzy Osborne was an alcoholic, Sharon hid all his clothing, so he went down the pub in one of her pink dresses

There was a young lady called Cathy
Who was always getting locked in the lavvy
She cried out for help
Only managed a whelp
