Hey-up !!

Aboot five days ago aah noticed me name wasn't in that little window-bit and aah thowt, "Aah hev te reset me cookie"

Well aah did that and it recognises me real name AND me e-mail address AND me password but aah still cannit gerrit sorted.

Aa've gone into 'Help' half a dozen times but the site is aalwez unavailable.

If anybody's PM'd uz and not got a reply - noo yez knaah why.

Any ideas??? - E-mail uz if yez want - [e-mail]

G-P, you won't be able to receive a PM if you are not logged in as a member.

You should find on the top of the page "Membership has it's rewards". Hit that and follow the prompts to reset your cookie. Make sure you have "Accept cookies" on you computer. You'll find that in the "Tools/internet options/privacy" section on your menu bar at the top of your internet page.

If you are using Internet Explorer, you need to click on "Tools" and then "Internet Options." Click the "Privacy" tab, and then click on the "Sites" button.

In the little input box, type "mudcat.org" (without the quotes), and then click "Allow."

This will put mudcat.org in the list of sites that you trust, and will let your computer keep your login cookie.

If you don't do this, with some browser security settings, you may get a cookie when you log in, but the cookie will go away when you leave the site or when you close your browser, so you "won't be here" the next time you come back.

Other browsers should have similar places where you can list your "trusted sites" like mudcat.

Aah've just enlisted as Geordie-Lad and the site sez aah've been accepted but aah still cannit get this little window te show me name.

Aah think aah'll hev te get the elder Rock Chick, JennyPen te sort it oot - She's canny like that foreby she's a worky-ticket ye knaah! She'll dee nowt for nowt so aah suppose it'll cost uz a pair o' trainers or summat.

Ye knaah! Me Da' AND me brother were caalled Tug as well as me. And me Uncles Albert, Dan and Les.

Me Uncle Dave wasn't though! His nickname was Chalkie!! Can ye guess why??

Well thankfully, I seem to have resolved the issue by simply resigning my previous membership then re-enlisting, using my proper title.
