Subject: Sidmouth Early Arrivals Ball - Cancelled From: steve_harris Date: 10 Jul 07 - 04:38 PM The Early Arrivals Ball will NOT happen on Thursday 2md August. It won't be happening from 8.30pm. Nor will it be in the Anchor Gardens. Callers and Musicians are NOT invited to come along and make up a scratch band. Persons watching the Morris display in the Market Square at about the same time should ON NO ACCOUNT drift over to the Anchor and try to do English Ceilidh. Even if by some freak of nature, the tarmac at the Anchor happens to be free of cars and other obstacles, you should NOT take this is an invitation to dance. NO NO NO! See here for a map showing the English Ceilidh exclusion zone. Do NOT dance in the area ndicated by the red circle! Quoting Nick Walden, "Oh dearie me, No" Make sure you tell all your friends that it's NOT happening. There's no "Ceilidh in the Ford" on Friday 10 at 3pm either. Steve Harris |

Subject: RE: Sidmouth Early Arrivals Ball - Cancelled From: Morticia Date: 12 Jul 07 - 01:15 PM Since we am never, ever at the Ceilidh, we couldn't possibly not be there this year either. Sadly, I really won't be at the early arrivals ball as we aren't getting to Sidders until Saturday. I like the idea of a Ceilidh Exclusion Zone, though. Perhaps the DG &D session could be a Chuckle Exclusion Zone. |
