The Early Arrivals Ball will NOT happen on Thursday 2md August. It won't be happening from 8.30pm. Nor will it be in the Anchor Gardens. Callers and Musicians are NOT invited to come along and make up a scratch band.

Persons watching the Morris display in the Market Square at about the same time should ON NO ACCOUNT drift over to the Anchor and try to do English Ceilidh.

Even if by some freak of nature, the tarmac at the Anchor happens to be free of cars and other obstacles, you should NOT take this is an invitation to dance. NO NO NO!

See here for a map showing the English Ceilidh exclusion zone. Do NOT dance in the area ndicated by the red circle!

I'm arriving early friday, so I WILL be there, but I won't be in 'The Bedford' the rest of the week, and won't go to the Ceilidh in the Ford that doesn't happen at 3pm on Friday 10th.

I'm arriving on Thursday so probably, by the time I've pitched tent etc I won't be able not to make it to the Early Arrivals Ball.

Ashby de la Zouch Folk Club WILL be on in the Volunteer Garden from 8.00 on Friday evening. (Seriously...it really will...)

Unfortunately I will be leaving on the Monday so I won't not make it to the Ceilidh in the Ford either.

I'm very sorry not to be missing both these events and I will try very hard not to be there next year

As I must not go to the Anchor garden I'll look for the early Middle Bar arrivals (Those that survived the Wednesday (Aug 1) pub crawl)

Arriving Monday 30/7 (direct from Warwick Fest) and will be working in the Festival Box Office until Sunday 5/8 if things go well or Tuesday 7/8 if not enough other people turn up to man the Box Office.

I shan't be at the King's Down Tail Camp site as usual, so of course won't be at any of these non events mentioned above.

Since we am never, ever at the Ceilidh, we couldn't possibly not be there this year either. Sadly, I really won't be at the early arrivals ball as we aren't getting to Sidders until Saturday.

I like the idea of a Ceilidh Exclusion Zone, though. Perhaps the DG &D session could be a Chuckle Exclusion Zone.
