Can anyone recommend a luthier / guitar repairer in the North East London or Essex areas?

I want to get a pickup fitted to my Martin so its not the worlds biggest commission but I'd prefer to use a local chap or lady if anyone knows one?

Where's PJ based these days? He was at Ely and he is a Headway agent.

It may not be too local but the best man for Martins is Vince Hockey contact via Guitar Junction Worthing Sussex

Cedric Thorose is your man in, Holloway North London. Builds and plays Resonator guitars (aka dobro)and mandolins and also does various repairs including electrics. He is also a Martin owner.

He is usually at the Hemingford Arms bluegrass sessions on Monday evenings. I have seen him there very recently.

Another good one is Dave Thomas, at present residing in Radlett, but shortly moving to Kenton, nr. Harrow. Did an excellent job on Tom's ancient Gibson recently.
