Subject: Info Req: Burntwood FF (UK) From: muppitz Date: 16 Jul 07 - 12:58 PM Just wondering if anyone knows whether or not I will be able to turn up on spec and buy a ticket? Not sure if I can make it yet so it'll probably be a last minute decision, unless it's likely to sell out in which case I'll have to leave it! If George reads this, if I'm there shall we have a jam? muppitz x |
Subject: RE: Info Req: Burntwood FF (UK) From: George Papavgeris Date: 16 Jul 07 - 01:20 PM I did, and we will, with cherry on top! In the beer tent would be best probably. I'll bring some lyrics along too. |
Subject: RE: Info Req: Burntwood FF (UK) From: Sooz Date: 16 Jul 07 - 02:16 PM Can we join in? |
Subject: RE: Info Req: Burntwood FF (UK) From: Rasener Date: 16 Jul 07 - 02:49 PM Burntwood - used to play against Burntwood Cricket Club for many years with my own club. Such nice memories. Lucky buggers, wish I could make it. I will just have to sulk. :-( |
Subject: RE: Info Req: Burntwood FF (UK) From: muppitz Date: 17 Jul 07 - 08:46 AM George, I like your style! Beer tent it is mate!! Sooz, last time me & George had a jam we ended up with an audience and a biggest fan! muppitz x |
Subject: RE: Info Req: Burntwood FF (UK) From: muppitz Date: 17 Jul 07 - 08:50 AM Got distracted before I finished that properly! What I meant to say was, we thought we'd found a quiet corner when we practiced last time, so being in the beer tent would definitely attract attention! Please feel free! muppitz x |
Subject: RE: Info Req: Burntwood FF (UK) From: GUEST,Col K Date: 17 Jul 07 - 07:33 PM Last time you tried at the edge of a beer tent, this time you are moving inside it, when do you the chance to go behind the bar in it. By the way you sounded great. Love ya |

Subject: RE: Info Req: Burntwood FF (UK) From: webfolk Date: 18 Jul 07 - 05:33 PM Is this a private exchange or can anyone join in. I will be there too, so perhaps we can share some tunes as well as ale. Geoff www.webfolk.net |
Subject: RE: Info Req: Burntwood FF (UK) From: George Papavgeris Date: 18 Jul 07 - 05:46 PM Everyone's welcome. The start of it is a new collaboration we hope to put together, muppitz and I; we practiced a bit at Alcester and it went well, so we're going to have another little go in Byurntwood. Still trying to find out which songs suit us both best. |
Subject: RE: Info Req: Burntwood FF (UK) From: webfolk Date: 19 Jul 07 - 05:15 AM George, I know the feeling, finding the right song with a new partner is not always easy, especially when they come from a different place, still, making music is what counts. Geoff www.webfolk.net |
Subject: RE: Info Req: Burntwood FF (UK) From: Sue Wilcock Date: 09 Aug 07 - 04:02 AM Muppitz, don't know if you've already found out but you should be fine just turning up.I emailed to ask if they could save me tickets as I only get paid on the 17th and they said there was no need to panic just pay on the day. |
Subject: RE: Info Req: Burntwood FF (UK) From: muppitz Date: 09 Aug 07 - 07:12 AM I've been told it should be ok, I intend to just turn up and purchase! If that doesn't work there are at least 4 artists I could credibly be a groupy for! muppitz x |
