Just to remind people that on Saturday September 1st there is the 3rd Songwriter Festival held at the Taybank Hotel in Dunkeld, Perthshire.

There is FREE music from over 20 different songwriters from as far afield as USA and as close as Dunkeld.

It starts at 11.00am and goes on and on and on until 11.00pm . Thats 12 hours of FREE LIVE MUSIC!

Can't be bad.

On the Friday night there is a singaround upstairs in the Music Room...where else?

And no doubt there will be a session or two in the bar ...if not start one. The more the merrier.

The Taybank has accomoation and there is a nice little hostel in Caputh about 5 miles up the road!
check web sites for both.
Otherwise there are lots of campsites nearbye or you could camp in the woods!!!!!
Sorry had a few beers tonight!
Might make more sense tomorrow!

Actually, I'd love to visit the Taybank again. Played fiddle there one evening several years ago. We stayed at a nice B&B right in the middle of town.
