The beer at the pub was great, cheaper than the festival and came from just down the road (Haddenham). By Monday tea time there was NO REAL ALE left in the pub at all. Not even 6X or Black Sheep.

I think Grant (the landlord of the Three Horseshoes) was very pleased that the beer ran out when it did - the last thing he wants is to be left with old beer that would otherwise have to be thrown away not sold. 6X & Black Sheep (affectionately known locally as Sheep Dip) are his staples there but the festival gives him an excuse to branch out a bit and sell the Vale Brewery lines. He can't normally stock them due to supply agreements outside his control (i.e. Pub Master). For reference, the prices were the the usual ones charged before the festival opened.
