Despite the having only four maritime artistes at Sea Swansea Festival, the sun decided to put his hat on and gave us a marvellous weekend.
Ken Stephens and Fiona Murfitt serenaded both the festival goers on the main stage as well as in the museum.
Shep Woolley was his usual entertaining self with songs and jokes.
Inner State did their seaside repertiore - suitably attired! As well as their walkabout on a ship!! Baggyrinkle drew a good crowd on both the main stage and on the lightship, "Helwick".
That, coupled with a young lads rock band, and a female singer actually made it a good weekend. Chantey Cabin graced us with their presence. Des Newton with his ships in bottles and Andy Peters maritime crafts along with tons of entertainment for adults and kids alike which a included a boat show ensured a good attendance. It has been confirmed that the festival will definitely be back next year. Thanks to one and all!

David Robinson.

"Ken Stephens and Fiona Murfitt serenaded both the festival goers on the main stage . . ."

Blimey, the audience has shrunk a bit . . .

;-}

Thoroughly enjoyed the singing of Baggyrinkle especially Tawney's Grey Funnel Line.
Thank you Skipper!
Albert

Some day I'll have to revisit Swansea, especially when there's a sea music festival scheduled.

Cheerily,
Charley Noble
