It is a useful site.

The live music they store on line for free download is controlled by whether an artist or band has a policy of allowing recordings and trading.

A wonderful resource but it can be hard to find things hidden in an ocean of crap.

I've been using it a lot since, (I think), Masato brought the site to our attention with a number of PDF files of rare texts available, including Child's books. I have been able to download many of the Shadow radio shows, along with The Saint shows. Next I'll be after Roy Rogers Radio shows. I'm down to the last episode of the Gene Autry serial, The Phantom Empire as well. They have a number of great movies, including the early 30s version of some classic Hitchcock. A large number of Bela Fleck performances, including some VERY early shows, are available there as well. If you don't have high speed internet for most of these, be prepared to spend a week on the download(s). There are also a number of great Gaelic texts I have located, and now am about 1/2 way through a download of a book called Sar Obair.
