Saturday September 1st, Songwriters Festival, Taybank Hotel, Dunkeld.

Thursday September 6th Blairgowrie Folk Club, Royal Hotel, Blairgowrie

Thursday September 27th, The Star Folk Club, St Andrews in the Square, Glasgow Suporting Bram Taylor.

Sunday December 9th, The Wee Folk Club, The Royal Oak, Edinburgh.

Just had a great day at the Edinburgh Fringe well worth it. lots and lots of great stuf and loads of it FREE.
Even won some tickets for a dance show! Superb.

We were at the Montrose Folk Club Last Night and saw the Mike West Band. A bit of a hike from Blairgowrie but worth it. Angie did a few songs and went down very well I thought. Good practice for her gig at Birnam Institute on Thursday 23rd August when she will be entertaining folks at the Buskers Cafe from 12.00 -3.00 ish.

Poms From Oz we heard you a few years ago at Chester Festival. Nice stuff.

Have a look on Alba Folk Some of the info is a bit out of date but most of it is still good. Then there is Folk In Fife, which is very upto date.

And the Music across Perthshire site gives good info as well.
Perthshire Amber, a 10 day festival based at Pitlochry with local hero Dougie MacLean doing lots of gigs is on around your visit.

ANGIE AND I WENT TO GLEN FARG FOLK CLUB AND SAW RAB NOAKES A GREAT NIGHT OUT FROM ONE OF THE GREATS IN FOLK.
ANGIE DID A FLORR SPOT AND GOT PAID A BUNCH OF BROCCOLI! WE WONDER HOW MUCH BROCCOLI RAB GOT FOR HIS PERFORMANCE.????
