I just heard a recording of Niamh Parsons singing a tune I am assuming is called, "Blue Murder" since it's the main tagline to the song. Any one have the lyrics anywhere?

Thanks for responding; however, that is not the song that Niamh Parsons's sings. When I have a few minutes, I will listen the song again and type up the words for that song.

I thought I had all of Niamh Parsons' recordings, but this song is on a CD I haven't seen, The Old Simplicity. This page (click) says "Blue Murder" is by Scots/New Zealand songwriter Alistair Hulett, on asbestos mining conditions in Australia.
I really enjoyed her performance when she was here in 2004. She said she lurks at Mudcat occasionally - maybe she'll drop in with an answer.

Not the same "Blue Murder" I think.

Don't know the Hulett song well, but the chorus is something like:

Joe, you're missing one of her best CDs. She came to Seattle about a year or two ago and sang most of the songs on that CD. Fantastic!
