We are considering going to this festival, it seems that it is themed around Christmas in the singarounds os this correct, what is the camping like? What are the best places for singarounds?   Does it get crowded in the main events etc. any info would be a help.

Can't help wondering where you've heard about this 'Christmas' theme Brassy Sharman, I haven't noticed it during past years and there's nothing on the website about Christmas!

Bedworth website here!

I usually host a MudGather on the Saturday afternoon, around teatime, so please keep an eye out for that, I might even hijack this thread to announce it when I get time & place sorted.

The lunchtime singaround/concert at the Swan last year had a Christmas theme. It was great. I can't remember the line up though - sorry. Richard and I hope to be there this year as we have tickets already but you can never count your chickens totally!

The MudGather was very good and we met a good few folks there - will there be chocolate cat biscuits this year??????

Love and peace

I'm not brave enough to do the indoor camping, for the past 2 years we've stayed in a hotel but this year we've got a campervan so we might be on the rugby club site.
I'm booked as an artist but I don't know where I'm playing as yet!

You need to buy a season ticket to get into the programmed singarounds and of course the camping

Bedworth is celebrating its 30th this year - Malc told me at Whitby that old friends will be coming out of the woodwork. Brassy - it's never really been about Christmas, though.

Dave the Hat camps in a tent at the Rugby Club, but you have to be pretty hardened to stay under canvas. There is also (limited) space for campervans and caravans. Don't think I can make it this year, sadly, because a friend is celebrating a significant birthday the same weekend.

Me & my Ma went to Bedworth for the first time last year, we had a wonderful time. We're almost certainly going again this year.
