Hello,
This evening I heard a fellow at an open mike here in Cambridge, MA sing a song that is probably called something like "Peace is a Shining Jewel in Your Hand". I asked him who wrote it, or if it was recorded and he said he had no knowledge of either, and the folks he learned it from (in San Francisco I think) didn't know either. The lyrics were rather simple and repetetive, but I would love to know if it is recorded and how I can get a listen.

Looks as though it is by someone named "Brook Schoenfield" and is called "Peace is a shining jewel." You can hear a sample of it at his CD BAby site.
