Other note: Edmonton is called the City of Festivals, and it is a well-deserved title. The Folk Music Festival is August 5-8 this year. www.efmf.ab.ca

Steve, I'd love to get together. And if you're around on the 12th, 13th and 14th. My buddies and I are holding a weekend long jam session about an hour & 15 minutes north of Edmonton that weekend. Should be around 20 local musicians of all stripes.
