They used to live near me in the 70's, in a big old house in Diggle, Saddleworth. Used to go skinny dipping in the river dam up there. Nice people, would love to know what they're up to.
Tim
PS Hi Sal!Didn't know you were a 70s prog rock fan!

Their website appears to contain some news about what they're up to:
http://www.bjharvest.co.uk/ .

And acording to Wikipedia "Les Holroyd and Mel Pritchard [who died 2004] teamed up to record under the name "Barclay James Harvest featuring Les Holroyd". Lees and Wolstenholme recently (2006/7) toured under the slightly modified band title "John Lees' Barclay James Harvest"

I saw the John Lees/Wooly Wolstenholme version of the band at a packed City Varieties, Leeds, last year. They were awesome, concentrating mainly on their Seventies material (Cheap The Bullet, from Welcome to The Show was the most recent song aired).

Given the warmth of the crowd's reaction, they'll hopeflly tour again soon.

Wayne
