Subject: RE: Barn Dance for Scrump - 14th Oct - Herts From: Ross Date: 27 Sep 07 - 05:26 AM Anyone phoned Alan - Should I persevere? Letchworth was good last night 'Faries with Boots' played tunes, Malcolm Hobbs sang marvellous ballads, Alan was the ghost of Johnny Cash and a bit of Bruce Bedspring, Nigel sang some Slade, Sue sat clutching her fiddle, Stevi rode on, A glamourous granny wore a galway shawl (which evidently can't be brought in Galway), another man sang & played his guitar single handed, Cathy lounged about looking glamourous, loads of groupies swamped the main seating areas and Chris sang a song to send us home happy Quotes Attempts to mate Pandas fail - Vet steps in Iraqi head demands arms |

Paul was a very kind man and he's very sadly missed from this messageboard. I hope that the festival goes well Ross, you've got a great line- up there, and I hope it goes from strength to strength, turning into a major folk festival. And you're so very right, Paul won't ever be forgotten. Cuddles |
