yes it's nearly time again for our,
'music in the mountains' weekend
held at The highest pub in Ireland The Top Of Coom, high in the Kerry Mountains. The last event saw visiting musicians from as far afield as Denmark, Germany Israel, America and England. Plus of course a host of very talented local Irish Musicians.
It's a fun filled weekend of sessions, concerts, storytelling and the like. All for fun and the love of music. No Booked artists, and no one gets paid, it's a free event, all you have to do is get here. If you are thinking of coming if you could drop us an email that would help to give us an idea of numbers. It's organised by us, John & Marie , so if you know us then it would be great to see you over here, and if you don't, it would be nice to meet you. All welcome. Great Ceol & Craic.

I love Ireland, and especially Cork/Kerry. We'll do our best to be there, although there's not much notice. Is it far from Killarney?

It's about 18 miles from Killarney, in Between Coolea and Kilgarvan.
it's a great place, just the pub and the mountains around it. No Village no shops etc.
There are some fabulous local singers and musicians coming as well as lots of people from further afield.

warm up sessions for the event, tonight Top of Coom, Wednesday Bernard Harringtons Glengarriff. Thursday Loo Bridge. Then start the weekend proper on Friday night at The Top Of Coom.
