My word news gets round! My wife Mally persuaded me to do a half hour spot at this years pre (Fylde) festival concert, and I enjoyed every minute of it. The result is that I am back doing a few floorspots and the odd Gig, as work commitments allow. I never realised how much I missed singing.

I would love to see Nick back on the scene.
I keep telling people that he was one of my favourite singers - IMHO he was on a par with Nick Jones
Welcome back Nick

Nick was always one of those performers who I thought deserved more credit than he seemed to receive.
I used to thouroughly enjoy his performances.
Quack!

Thank you all very much. How are you keeping Mick? My driver delivered a Gypsy wagon to your neighbours I believe not so long ago!
Hello to Ralph as well. I'm not too bothered about looking for work so much as enjoying the music, and the people.
By the way just out of interest, my fifteen minutes of fame came last May when I delivered a wagon to Ronnie Wood, the BBC have it on their website
http://www.bbc.co.uk/lancashire/content/image_galleries/nickdow_gallery.shtml?7

You'll notice he has just woken up and still wearing bedroom slippers!! Its a great story.....
I'm hoping to get over to Swinton Festival on Saturday afternoon/evening.
God bless you
Nick

I'm keeping all right, thanks very much, Nick. I was up at Fylde Festival two years ago (I'm a musician with Gwerinwyr Gwent dance team, from Newport) but I missed you, worse luck. Mind you, it's a large festival!

Great news, Nick. It was so good to see you at Easter at Glasson Dock. Maybe now I'll get a chance to see you singing again, which I'd really love to do. You've always been one of the best, in my opinion.

Thanks again for kind comments one and all. Liz all my old LPs are on CD including the Dorset Garland and the Live Performance from the Hardy Hall. Just type in Nick Dow on Ebay. Arthritis in my right hand stops me playing Guitar like I used to (years of woodwork painting and carving) but on a positive note I have had to learn a completely new repetoire. You can always get me at the Ingham and Fallon website www.gypsy-wagons.com all the best to you.

Skipy the Kangaroo:)? Thanks for the orders. Give us a clue please! My LPs never made any money as flat black plastic things, but put them on CD and stop singing and the world and his wife want a copy! Not that I am complaining, in fact it was one of the factors that made me decide to pick up again.
So where are you Skipy North or South Male or Female, I'm useless at any game that involves too much intelligence.

The 'Welcome return' session that was kindly organised for me at Chippenham, touched me and suprised me. The room was full at ten in the morning on the Sunday, to hear me rattleing on about myself. Thank you all so very much. I enjoyed Chippenham very much, and I am looking forward to Cleckeaton Festival in July.

Hello Nick - I enjoyed meeting you and hearing you sing at Chippenham.

For those that weren't there, Mary and I had the honour of sharing a stage with Nick (and others) on Sunday night at The Cause. Unlike some people here I hadn't heard of Nick Dow before so this was something of a revelation and a very pleasant one too.
