I have tried this before, but if there are Norvegians and Icelanders on Mudcat, there MUST be some people from Holland, as we are with 15.000.000

Will
More to the point what kind of music do you play and where?
I shall cast aside my love of Irish music for the moment(if you're into this and know of sessions in Holland then let me know HERE)
in order to mention a brilliant blues jam I witnessed in Amsterdam a few years back. Age & liquor has taken its toll and I can't for the life of me remember the name of the bar. I know it was near the Leidensplace (excuse my spelling.. i.e. near the American Hotel).. I think it was called something like Bourbon Street.. but I may be wrong.. anyroad it was a brilliant night.
Then again Amsterdam is a brilliant place to be in.
Cheers
Mick

Don't know how it works here at the Mudcat, but I'll soon find out. ....from Venray, Holland. Dutch with a "zachte g".

Just found out this question. Heard it from Phillippa in Ireland via email, she's also a "Mudcatter".

I love Ireland and everything about and in it.

But why is it important?

slán,

Will, I am doing a music for a play in Seattle, US, called "Amsterdam" and am looking for a good place to find sheet music for traditional dutch songs. I am specifically looking for a song called "Tulpen uit amsterdam". Let me know if you could help me. Thanks
