I surprised thats there is nothing on here about the Amber Festival in Pitlochry. 10 days of music from some great artists.
Went to the Open Mic at the Festival Theatre on Sunday a super event some godd some not so good some great and all for free. Had a great session in the bar afterwards . Supreb jazz duo/trio practising for their gig on Monday in the evening Cabaret Spot. Pity I could not get back to see them. Of course must give Angie Wright a plug for her spot in the OPen Mic and her great controibution to the session, but I may seem a bit biased there (or not as lots of folk complimentrd her on her singing and her own material.)
Shes on at the Leith Folk Club tonight, Tuesday . I ll be there!
