My Philosopher of the Prairie, Rog,"he of deep thoughts" had a great thought. He's a broadcast engineer and so has been involved in making sure everything stays on when the dreaded Y2K comes about. BUT, since he can't be EVERYWHERE, we're wondering if it may bring a boon for acoustic music?

Think of it, all electronics go down! YEa!!!!Then we hit the streets with our naturalinstruments and take over the world and the minds of humankind and, and, then Max can bring back the electronics for the Mudcat, and we'd all be in instant contact to carry out our assigned roles in making sure the music world remains acoustic FOREVER!!!! Ahhahaha!!!! (demented laugh) No more synthezisers, no more Muzak, no more, well, you get the idea! Then the recording we all bought in the 60's and on, of boosted music, ala Hendrix, Led Zep, etc. will be worth a mint and we'll all be RICH MUSICIANS!!!!!

This can be a positive thing, Mudders! I am telling you, we are on to something here! You knowpositive and harmlessness are my middle names, so....would I steer us wrong?

Katlaughing, diabolically!

I got bad news for you kat, some people have paid a fortune in generators and gas. So those awful "musical insterments" will still work. Worse, those generators make a lot of noise, so they will turn the volumn up HIGHER, if you can imangine it, to drown out the generator.

Personally I think the generator is about as good an insterment to accompony the electric guitars any, if you like the kind of music that has electric guitars.

For those of you with generators, (we haven't one) you can run the exhaust through a bucket of water to silence it greatly.

In all seriousness, acoustic music has ruled and will always rule. An orchestra, after all, is all acoustic, isn't it? IDDN'T IT?

HeHe
